Job Details:(Duty statements describing major tasks/duties, essential responsibilities, accountabilities, working relationships and key activities associated with the role.) l Provide direct interface with NPD lauch team for new product quality implementation, including coordination with engineering, BCS, marketing and manufacturing. l Work with the manufacturing team to assure the consistency/effectiveness of our new product quality management system, including the utilization of our key quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC). l Conduct quality audits and provide training as required. l Review/analyze data and trends (from SPC systems, customer complaints, supplier returns, etc.) and identify opportunities (projects) for improvement, including making recommendations for and helping with the deployment of permanent corrective actions.l Work with design engineering and manufacturing team to understand and interpret design specific requirements from a review of new product drawings, dFMEA,pFMEA, control plan, etc.l Setting quality goals and trending data for NPD launch activitiesl Driving lessons learned to NPD teaml Developing a customer satisfaction planl Support our Make sites and interface with suppliers, as needed, on quality issues and in support of our best cost sourcing and supplier quality improvement programs.
