Responsibilities
- Provide direction and support to Filtration China to insure business growth through investigation and providing information on productivity improvements (providing cost reductions and delivery improvements), Quality improvements, and through reduction/elimination of safety issues.
- Improve the operational performances (safety, quality, costs, lead-time, productivity, scrap, machine/process capability,...) of designated manufacturing workshop, lines, or processes by analyzing the workflows, methods, materials, components, equipment lay out, workforce, and managing the daily mfg routines.
- Advise, propose, and implement appropriate innovative technical, yet cost effective solutions for new systems or production equipment
- Manage or support projects (as situation requires) for installation of new manufacturing lines, processes or machines within the scope of the launch of new products or for cost, quality, delivery, or H&S improvements.
- Provide Mfg Engineer support to Intl Entities to identify, plan, coordinate, and control each phase of the projects with respect to costs, quality, and timelines, following TQS procedures. This may include defining new lines/processes, developing functional specifications, consulting potential vendors, selecting vendors, purchasing equipment, conducting design reviews, run-offs, shipping support, installation and training, or any other aspect of support.
- Participate in the design/release of new products, at the early stage of the project, to insure manufacturability and optimal product design, and to lead the manufacturing efforts for the new production introduction process.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new potential suppliers to provide cost effective equipment and processes with appropriate technology for our customers, whether they are International or US based.
- Provide information to management to assist them in making the best decisions possible for profitable growth
- Implement and facilitate lean mfg in work shops
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with engineering background
- At least 5 years experiences in MFG positions in multinational company
- Good project management skill
- Good command of English
- Expertise in Office
- Self-motivated/teamwork
